I have been growing for my farm and nursery since 1989, a continual learning process. I am committed to biodiversity in soil and seed and in our ability to participate in the rich culture of gardens and food around the world.

I love what I do, learn, and eat... and I love sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with the local community of growers and gardeners on Vashon Island and in the wider Puget Sound community.

I have six children, the two oldest are grown and living in Seattle, and four elementary aged girls.
